Where does one get a 25-30 year old Beech tree? Did it come from the neighbor's other property? What a lovely addition to Prouts Neck. This tree probably never dreamt of such a life. I was thinking about the rocks that the Rockland Breakwater is made of. They were probably part of a quarry or hill for thousands if not millions of years. And now they create a safe harbor and support the feet of thousands of visitors to the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse.
